Business Development Manager

Location: Delhi
No. of Openings: 2
Experience: 5-8 years
Qualification: Post Graduation in Biotechnology, Life-science or similar

Role & Responsibilities: Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a particular assigned region. The role is based out at Delhi; however travelling would be required throughout the assigned region (For example if West region is assigned, travelling will be required to Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad).

Business Development
1.The Role will have focus working with Biopharma companies to sell products and to generate new business to achieve assign targets
2.Initiate cold calls to prospects within the assigned region
3.Initiate customers’ retention measures by building on customer relations
4.Collect references from existing customers and create a customer pool for new business development
5.Responsible for timely catering to customer queries
6.Responsible for training, grooming and supporting the sales team to generate new business / new accounts
7.Responsible for Support marketing programs and programs in other territories as assigned by the Company and assume a leadership role in doing so

Distribution Management
1.Liaising with distribution and channel partners in fulfilling customer orders
2.Responsible for raising Purchase Orders and Indent
3.Responsible for various activities related to control and monitor of the orders, dispatches to the end user

Reporting
1.Updating information regarding customer visits
2.Updating competitors information
Creation of new database and process documentations

Prerequisites for the position:
1.Exposure of Sales and Marketing in the field of Life sciences reagent, Diagnostic and instrumentations
2.People management, must have experience of handling sales team of 7 to 8 people
3.Capable of generating new business (Business development) and should be a customer relation expert
4.Expertise in Distributor management
5.Good knowledge and contacts with core account (Pharma and major research institutes)

Application Support- Molecular Diagnostics

Location- Delhi
Vacancy- 01

1. Technical demonstration and technical positioning of products
2. Working closely with product management, sales and service teams
3. Onsite as well as offsite troubleshooting of assays, systems and protocols
4. Provide an on-site Application Training to current & potential clients
5. Conducting Scientific Marketing activities, Workshops, Technical meets and other customer engagement activities
6. Pre-sales and post-sales support for sales team in terms of technical information, competitive information and technical discussions with the prospects
7. Providing training & technical support to the Account Managers/Sales Team throughout the sales cycle

Prerequisites for the position:
1. M.Tech/MSc. in Biotechnology
2. Should have a decent understanding & bench work experience in molecular techniques
3. Should have a good theoretical understanding of basic immunology, antigens, antibodies, antigen-antibody interactions, fluorochromes.
4. Willingness to travel.
5. Optional – basic theoretical backing of transplant immunology and HLA

5. Keeping a close watch on competitors & defining strategies to outperform them.

Technical Support Executive
