Role Centre
Primary Deliverables
Technical Sales
- Identify business opportunities and generate new leads for our product range
- Nurture relationships with our existing clients to maintain and grow existing business
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotations, and product demonstrations
- Identify bulk sales opportunities & promote special offers from suppliers
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Maintain the customer database and lead funnel accurately
- Manage client receivables (payments)
- Participate in road shows and exhibitions, and follow-up leads
Technical Support
- Helping customers in identifying the right product based on their specific needs & requirements
- Providing scientific/technical support and helping with basic troubleshooting
- Lead funnel management and follow-ups on sales quotations/proposals
- Cross-selling/Up-selling activities
- Maintaining & updating the customer database and sales funnel management
- Collaborate with the Customer Support team to prepare rate contracts and tenders
- Collaborate with the Sales team and other internal teams to support the needs of the customer
- Visiting assigned clients to promote focus products
Application Support
- On-site and off-site application support on our reagents/kits and equipment portfolio
- On-site training of customers' users on our equipment and assays
- Helping customers identify the right product based on their requirements
- Cross-selling/up-selling activities
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and product demonstrations
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and manage client receivables (payments)
Customer & IT Support
- Preparing sales quotations and processing orders
- Maintaining statutory and KYC documents of customers
- Receivable management & control
- Tender & rate contract management
- Preparing sales MIS & CRM reports
- Registration and documentation on the customer's purchase portals
- Company IT asset management
- Managing system backups & basic IT support
Instrumentation Sales & Service Support
- Prepare and deliver instrumentation presentations, quotations, and demonstrations
- On-site training of customers on the software & hardware of the equipment range
- Managing AMCs and CMCs for the entire equipment range
- Servicing equipment under PMs and during breakdowns
- Business development for instruments & achieving sales objectives
- Assisting customers in meeting NABL & ISO regulations and in developing SOPs
- Maintenance of demo equipment and assessment of equipment in inventory
- Managing parts and spare inventories
HR Generalist & Admin Support
- Hiring, recruiting, and onboarding process management
- Employee salary, expenses, and leave management
- HR documentation and record-keeping
- HR policy development and implementation
- Managing all HR statutory compliances & updating management on regulatory changes
- Managing skill development & training
- Office and admin support
- Website updating and website vendor management
Accounting & Finance Support
- Book-keeping and accounting
- Import remittances and vendor payment management
- Cash flow and financial management
- Sales & Income tax compliances & remittances
- Record keeping of all documentation as per sales & Income tax regulations
- Employee salary and expense management
- Statutory reporting for sales tax
Logistics & Operations Support
- Managing movement for regulated & perishable products (such as lab chemicals/reagents, etc.)
- Inbound logistics- Import & local purchase planning and vendor order processing
- Customs clearance process & meeting customs compliance
- Management of customer orders & processing
- Outbound logistics- packaging & shipping of time and temperature-sensitive products
- Inventory management and control
- Meeting compliances and documentation for other governmental agencies (import/waste mgt, etc.)
- Maintaining the ERP system's product masters, vendor, and customer databases
- Managing vendor and customer master records
- Managing inbound and outbound shipping & packaging vendors
- Maintaining statutory records as per GST and customs regulations
