EMBO Practical Workshop Cryo electron microscopy and 3D image processing (CEM3DIP) at IISC Bangalore

This course is catered towards researchers in structural biology as well as cellular and molecular biology interested in structural analyses of macromolecular complexes in vitro as well as in situ. Students and post-doctoral researchers from academic institutions or industry interested in using cryo-EM in their biological research questions participated.
The course included hands-on practical sessions on all aspects of cryo-EM sample preparation and data acquisition and research talks and discussions on basic principles of cryoEM, applications as well as cutting- edge methods encompassing cryoEM such as correlative light and electron microscopy, focused ion beam (FIB) milling and integrative modeling.
